I. Love. Food.

Many many years ago, my father taught me how to do a simple blonde roux for roast turkey gravy. It was the first thing I ever made from scratch and I never looked back.

Am I a trained chef?  No. But I am in love with the idea of really amazingly good food. And SUPER in love with the idea of natural food. Free range meats and farmers markets produce make me smile more then the chemical laden garbage that is constantly offered to us. And sustainable foods? I may do a back-flip. So it should come as no suprize that when I am NOT in the kitchen I am getting dirty in the garden. Both of these hobbies have become even more fun now that I have a partner in crime to join me on my adventures.

I would love to tell you more about me right now – but my day job is an illustrator / designer and talking to you about my perfect lasagna won’t keep the heat on.

But yea I do make the best lasagna.
